How it all started...
Grange Hall received its name from its humble beginnings as a farmer's grange. Church records show that in 1910, Joseph E. and Julia A. Winchester deeded approximately 1 acre of ground and the grange building to the trustees and the successors of Grange Hall Christian Church. It served as a Christian Church for several years before being abandoned and falling into disrepair. In the 1920's and 1930's the building was used for various activities until the early 1940's when Rev. John Throgmorton rode his mule to preach on Sundays and the community decided to repair the old building and new windows and new floor were installed. On August 22, 1948, a committee of Rev. H.T. Littles, Rev. Willie Huffman and deacon Arthur Jones met to organize a Freewill Baptist Church. There were 17 charter members. The first pastor was Rev. Claude Childers. We praise God for the pioneers of Grange Hall Church and the lives that have been touched by the fruits of their labor through Jesus Christ. We pray that as the present-day body of Grange Hall Church, will be "filled with the fruits of righteousness, that come through Jesus Christ- to the Glory and Praise of God." Philippians 1:11 so that the lives will continue to be touched until Jesus returns to take us home.

Baptism is the next step after accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. Scripture in Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
